Artificial Curiosity is a way to program agents that rewards entities for taking chances and experimenting, to search for novel unexpected experiences.

This is a story about a drone that is sent out to find and help people after a mysterious disaster and how it may reprogram itself if it can’t meet its objective

The drone is de-programming itself to think in more experimental ways without the shackles of knowledge, history and routines of perception that can deaden human perception. To find life and achieve its goal, the drone needs to give itself life, through throwing off the constraint of its main program and reprogram itself to see/be in a new way.
